In a recently resurfaced episode of the "Activist Theology Podcast," James Talarico, a Democratic state lawmaker now running for the Senate, confided that "I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity." He later referred to Jesus as "that barefoot Rabbi".

Also primaries took place in New York, Utah, and Maryland Tuesday, as well as primary runoffs in South Carolina / Brad Lander, a former Democratic Socialists of America member backed by Sen. Bernie Sanders and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, defeated Rep. Dan Goldman in Tuesday’s Democratic primary for New York’s 10th Congressional District / audio from Obama Administration advisor and socialist Van Jones on CNN / the socialist arm of the Democratic party (DSA) seizes the state primaries / and President Trump scored a major legislative win after Congress cleared a sweeping housing bill aimed at expanding the nation’s supply of homes and lowering costs.
