In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Marconi award winning talk show host Dan Mandis fills in for the guys this week and we begin this hour with concerns for ailing Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is directly asking McConnell, the state’s most powerful figure in Congress, to disclose more about his condition after three weeks of silence from the 84-year-old since he was hospitalized in Washington. The letter released Wednesday from Beshear, says, “Kentuckians have grown increasingly concerned about the current state of your health and well-being, and ability to hold office.” Senator McConnell's wife also released a statement explaining her absence as she left for China after her husband was admitted to the hospital.
Also criticizing the SCOTUS ruling upholding birthright citizenship, some of President Trump’s allies said having that right has opened the doors to "birth tourism." China and Mexico in particular are in the spotlight.
