The Pre Classic Diamond League in Stanford saw Jessica Hull in her first race as a pro run the 1500m in 4:02, setting a new personal best and Tokyo Olympic qualifier. Stewart McSweyn features in the 2-mile race.

Western States 100 Mile ultramarathon in California USA taken out in a course record time of 14:0928 by Jim Walmsley, while previous guest Lucy Bartholomew comes 14th female in 21:19.

Eloise Wellings and Brad pick up from last week, heading into 2012 after the heartbreak of 2008 and talk about meeting Julius Achon from Uganda learning about his story and how it started Love Mercy. She shares how training with Julius, getting in rest days and less training days lead to winning Zatopek 2009 

Eloise eventually made it to the Olympics and talks about the differences in training and preparation for London in 2012 and Rio in 2016 and how their performances differed and being in the state of flow for the Rio 10000m. Eloise also compares the Olympics and Commonwealth games and her life changing before and after becoming a mum.

She talks about her coaching under Nic Bideau in terms of session structure and mileage management, before talking about what the mission and programs of her foundation Lover Mercy do in Northern Uganda, the impact she’s had as a role model and who she takes inspiration from, her activities post Gold Coast Comm Games and making the move towards the marathon and what it means being a Shire girl.
