FTK OG pair Brett & Joel take over the main show for an in-person recording after travel-plans cause recording problems with the Jack, Joel & Tess. They switch up the usual training-week chat to go deep on their respective Sydney Marathon training plans over the next 7 weeks. Joel also chats with Jack (calling in from Madrid airport) to update the listeners on his recent 3000m race.
Friend-of-the-show Josh asks how a question on race warm ups. Brett and Joel talk through the different kinds of warm-ups for different races.

Jack kicks things off with a solid week of training after his slightly disappointing 3000m race. He lays down a big Tuesday workout and follows it up with 16km of k on, k off with Sondre Moen. Tess does plenty of "interesting" running while away on TDF camp and Joel's marathon training is FINALLY underway (not like him to cram things).
Joel's athlete Miles Leyden sends him a text while the team are recording. He gets permission from Miles to ask Tess and Jack their thoughts on the issue.
In perfect Jack Rayner style, Jack gives his Kudos to a body of water post-run, while Joel sends his towards an early 2000's cycling documentary. Tess closes out the segment by highlighting the Col du Tourmalet.
To wrap up episode #156 Tess throws shade towards people that upload their sleep scores on Strava. Jack isn't sure about the press photos of Kenyan athletes signing college contracts and Joel highlights a funny video that he's been laughing at far too much.
