In this episode, Marisa introduces her new podcast series and shares her incredible personal and professional journey which led her to create this show. Marisa explains how she was inspired by her own commitment to self-care, personal development and personal growth and her profound desire to help others reach their full potential in life. 

Marisa reveals how the name of the podcast, A Voice and Beyond, is deeply connected to her philosophy towards the voice. She believes “The voice is a higher form of self-expression. Whether you are a part of the voice community or beyond, your voice is your unique gift and my mission is to empower others to take charge, discover their voice in life, share their gift with others, develop a positive mindset, and become the best and most authentic version of themselves to create greater impact every day”.  

Marisa explains that our whole body is our vocal instrument and our instruments echo how we feel physically, mentally and emotionally.  She offers strategies on how to improve our overall health and wellbeing and encourages a gentle daily regime of self-care that can be applied to achieve successful outcomes every day.
