In this week's Saturday Strategy Session, we chat about creating a home base for your marketing plan - Specifically, where you are sending people. I recommend that you have one solid home base to direct traffic, nurture your people, and continue building relationships. This is extremely important because people NEED a next step in order to take action and follow through. People in momentum continue to be in momentum. Therefore, you do not ever want your marketing to come to a dead end.
When it comes to a home base for your marketing plan, we’re talking more about the biggest reason WHY you should have one (not multiple different ones), what my personal home bases have been over time, and the pros and cons of various home bases. One of my biggest pieces of advice is to not give too many choices when sharing how people can find and connect with you. Creating consistency and focus is really powerful, and it doesn’t need to be over-complicated!
It’s totally okay for you to test out different home bases for marketing, but make sure you’re giving it sufficient time before you change things up. That way, you’ll be able to find what works well and fits your particular business best. I truly believe that the more value you put out into the world, the more value will come back to you!
