Sir Steve Redgrave is the greatest / most successful rower ever. He won 5 gold medals at 5 consecutive Olympics between 1984 - 2000.

Steve was knighted for his services to sport in 2001 - he won BBC sports personality of the year 2000 ad won the BBC sports personality lifetime award in 2011.

Today Steve is the chairman of the Henley Royal Regatta and the director of peak performance for the Chinese Olympic rowing team.
