As IndyCars hummed around the Homestead Miami Speedway facility for a pre-season test, Conor Daly and co-host Joey Mulinaro reported for duty on another edition of Speed Street. The guys gave some real-time reactions to the test results and debated whether the results would be useful due to the track not being a part of the current IndyCar schedule. They also discussed Marco Andretti’s 2024 switch to the NASCAR/ARCA world and Jimmie Johnson’s induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
After the break, Lindsay Brewer, one of Juncos-Hollinger Racing's drivers in the 2024 Indy NXT Series joined the show to chat about her path through the world of motorsports and how many fans may have the wrong impression of her. She revealed that while she has no family ties to the sport, a trip to a go-kart facility for a birthday party when she was 11 sparked an enduring love for speed that she continues to chase today. After working her way through the kart and Legends racing ranks, Lindsay found herself on the Road to Indy, graduating into the Indy NXT class this season for the next step in the pursuit of her dream of starting in the Indianapolis 500.
