Hey poddy fam, hold on to your socks, cos they're going to be knocked of when you hear about the success of today's guest, Lizzie Waley, the co-founder of Sundae Body. Launched just 2 years ago, Sundae Body has already made 20 million dollars in sales! Sundae Body is a body care product that is known for its infamous whipped cream can design and fun flavour body washes. Before the brand even launched and had a website, they secured ranging in 1200 stores across Australia, including Woolies and Priceline. In this episode, Lizzie talks about how they were able to break into what was previously such a stale industry, how she created a whole segment by coming in at a higher price point but smashed it, how she focused on the gifting experience to create their buzz, and of course, how she got stocked by so many stores - I actually learnt so much about the business model of working with distributors! [And btw sorry I'm more nasally and sniffly than usual, the hay fever got me that day.]
