You’ve likely heard of emotional intelligence.

It is discussed in many realms these days, including business, where it was once thought of as a “soft” or unnecessary skill.

Developing your emotional intelligence is a powerful way to create stronger connections, everywhere from work to romance. It is not something to overlook.

When I work with men on cultivating their ability to recognize and communicate their emotions, as well as notice and respond to others’ emotions, they often tell me life becomes richer and more meaningful. They feel closer to their partners, friends and kids. They are more inspired and less burnt out by life!

If you’ve explored emotional intelligence and are still curious, or are interested in even more masterful connections and wonder what’s next, I have two other intelligences to introduce to you, along with a man who created a way for you to explore all three!

The additional two intelligences are Energetic intelligence and Erotic intelligence. They are lesser known but are extremely powerful in their effect on your own vitality and your relationships with others.

On today’s Man Alive podcast episode I was joined by Joe Bernstein. Joe coaches men to get healthy and focus on family and love, without sacrificing what they’ve built.  He is a certified Mind-Body Eating Coach, is on the Leader Body of the Mankind Project and is a member of the Healing Team for Showing Up for Racial Justice.

In this conversation Joe and I discussed:

* The benefits of becoming more emotionally, energetically and erotically mature * What happens when you give up the need to prove yourself* How men can stop trying to be powerful and instead relax into a deeper, more steady power* Joe’s journey with risking losing what mattered to him as he saw he was settling for good, rather than great in his life* Practices to become more aware of yourself and attuned to others

Joe is both a colleague and a dear friend. I have deep trust in him and always love what he has to say. I highly recommend this podcast for a dose of wisdom around how to feel more powerful as you create a more meaningful and passionate life!
