It’s a sad day in Speed Street world as show co-founder Joey Mulinaro announced he’s leaving the show. He and co-host Conor Daly reflect on the inception of the show and the great memories made in the first two years of its existence. There was a lot of activity in the racing world over the weekend and the guys brokedown the results from the Rolex 24 race at Daytona which saw IndyCar Champion Josef Newgarden take home a win as part of Team Penske. They also previewed the concert line-up for this year’s Indy 500 Snake Pit.
After the break, the Speed Street crew welcomed 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi to discuss a recent meeting between IndyCar veteran drivers and the league's top brass officials. Rossi explained that while he could not divulge details, there was much on the horizon for IndyCar devotees and drivers alike to be excited about. They also previewed Arrow McLaren’s upcoming IndyCar team livery reveal. Finally, Conor and Rossi reflected on their time together on the Amazing Race and what they would change about the experience.
