After the break, Conor welcomed Indy NXT racer Jacob Abel onto the program to discuss his experience thus far in the Road to Indy ladder and how it’s helping him to prepare for his future ambition of being a fulltime IndyCar competitor. Jacob tells the story of how his father’s Abel Motorsports team went from being a vintage racing outfit to one of the most competitive teams in the Indy NXT paddock. Jacob explains that this year he’ll be focusing on becoming a better qualifier as he and the team strive to bring home an Indy NXT Championship.
