112: What an ACTUAL fire drill taught me about being ready for a KEYNOTE! (This will help whether you're SPEAKING at your 1st or 101st event!)

Here's a KEY TIP for SPEAKERS that I wish I'd known sooner.
It's something an ACTUAL fire drill reminded me of.
It's all about being ready for a KEYNOTE! (This will help whether you're SPEAKING at your 1st or 101st event!)
It happened THIS week.
I was supposed to take the stage in 25 minutes... and BBBBBWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH... the fire alarm started to rip through the event space.
Yup... they had to clear the hall... and everyone was scrambling.
But... I'm wildly grateful to say... my pre-talk prep SAVED me!
I wasn't stressed. So... when they got everyone back in the space with minutes to spare... it all just flowed.
So... I wanted to share these observations and tips with you here!
And hey... when you're MORE PREPARED... those BIG events tend to come FASTER! AND... when you feel prepared... you can enjoy them a whole lot more too!
