Dan's introduction to HIPAA began 15 years ago when he managed the trauma registry at his local hospital, where he found himself navigating the corridors to find a key to the shredding bin. Since then, his appreciation for understanding the reasons for HIPAA compliance, and how to effectively integrate them into healthcare operations while minimizing headaches has become a personal passion. Since then, Dan has conducted hundreds of in-depth risk assessments for both dental practices and hospital departments.
