True confession: there are still parts of the Bible that I do NOT want to read because I'm afraid of the shame and conviction creeping back up! Proverbs 7 was one of those that came up in my reading plan- all about the "immoral woman."
BUT GOD met me even there! When I was willing to be open and take my emotions to Him, He showed me a beautiful scene of redemption, rescuing, and safety. He is so good, I just had to share it and encourage you as well.

Hey, I’m Kristina Joy. Forgiven daughter of Jesus, Mom, and Coach. For years, I tried to break free from my infidelity in all the wrong ways. I tried by sheer willpower, I tried reading my Bible more, and I even considered joining a 12-step program. None of it worked.

I finally realized that if I was going to find true freedom in my life, I needed to let Jesus heal some deep wounds in my heart. Through prayer, a whole lot of research, and developing new healthy habits, I was finally able to find healing to shed my shame once and for all. I learned I could choose to leave the affair behind. I could choose to pursue my own emotional healing and growth, no matter if my marriage survived or not. I could create new healthy habits that would move me forward in confidence, with strength and dignity. And I am SO ready to share what I’ve learned with you!
