Today’s episode is based on the conversation that Greg and I had last week on the episode titled Contributing Factors where we talked about many of the sociological, psychological, and physiological factors that come into play during all of the high profile police use of force cases that you see every night on the news.  

Due to the significant amount of positive feedback we received from that episode we decided to build on our conversation and try to provide a deeper understanding of all of the factors that come into play and provide some practical solutions that can be implemented quickly.

But before we can arrive at a potential solution we have to start with the most difficult and often over simplified process of… clearly defining the problem. So today’s episode is simply that…Defining a really hard problem by discussing many of the issues that contribute to that problem. While the list of issues we discuss in the episode is by no means comprehensive, it is a list of issues that can be fixed.
