#121 Koichiro Takagi on East Asia Security

Listen Later

The Cognitive Crucible is a forum that presents different perspectives and emerging thought leadership related to the information environment. The opinions expressed by guests are their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of or endorsement by the Information Professionals Association.

During this episode, Colonel Koichiro Takagi discusses his recent article: The Future of China's Cognitive Warfare and East Asia security. He notes that China's concept of cognitive warfare and intelligentized warfare have merged in recent years. Koichiro is currently a fellow at the Hudson Institute. Note: There is a transcript available on the IPA website here.

Research Question: Koichiro believes that interested students should develop innovative operational concepts which employ cutting edge technologies which are currently being developed. What is important is not the superiority of the technology itself, but the superiority of the operational concept.
