Today's guests, Cecil and Lou founders Ashley and Blythe McCain, deliver the finest quality of children's clothing at an affordable price!
Cecil and Lou specialize in hand smocked dresses, bubbles, jon-jons, swimsuits, and other accessories for the little ones in your life. Cecil and Lou captures the tradition of classic children’s clothing while also adding a modern touch. Ashley and Blythe are lifelong friends and sister-in-laws, who even share the same birthday, but what they have in common doesn’t stop there. They are wives and mothers who are deeply involved in their community, and proud business owners of Cecil and Lou! Ashley is a Texas Tech Marketing graduate, and Blythe graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Communications, so together, they make a wonderful team!
After becoming mothers, they quickly realized how much they loved outfitting their children in classic southern clothing, and in 2011, they saw an opportunity to work, but still be home with their kids by starting a children’s clothing company.
Keeping the theme of their new venture in mind, they named the business Cecil and Lou — inspired by their children! We know listeners will enjoy hearing more about this popular business! Be sure to share today's episode with a friend!
