We expand one of our favorite mailbag questions to a full-length episode, dedicating this week’s episode to Office scenes in the car. We talk about how those scenes set up unique conversations between characters and move the plot forward, how they compare to talking heads, and how the camera angles and positions influence the comedic moments. And of course we eventually get to listing some of our favorite Office-car moments, including trips to the lake, intense breakups while Darryl is driving, and Dwight licking his lips. We then move to an Oridinary Things segment where we discuss car/road trip moments from our own lives, hit the Conference Room for a game of ‘Friend/Marry/Kill’ suggested by a listener, and wrap with trivia.
