Dr. Geninho Thomé is graduated in Dentistry, Specialist in Periodontology, Master and PhD in Oral Implantology. He founded the Neodent implant system in 1993 after years of experience in the field. Twenty years later the company was acquired by the Straumann Group. In 2004, he also co-founded the Latin American Institute for Dental Research and Education (ILAPEO) – which is now Neodent's main clinical research center. Currently, Dr. Geninho Thomé is Scientific President of Neodent, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Neodent and CEO and Professor at ILAPEO.

Translating for Dr. Thomé is Dr. Sergio Rocha Bernardes. He has over 10 years of experience in the Dental Implant Market and Industry, originally as a consultant and nowadays working directly. He has been a clinician in this field since 2000, practicing surgeries, prosthodontics and oral rehabilitation. He has also worked directly with students as a Professor, instructor and trainer since 2003, for theoretical and practical courses. Dr. Bernardes is co-author of three books on Oral Implantology. His main focus is research, product development, scientific writing and marketing analysis over Oral Implantology and related.
