Greg Grosicki, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Exercise Physiology Laboratory at Georgia Southern University. His research focuses on exercise and nutritional interventions to improve human performance in a variety of populations, from athletes to older adults. His recent work has focused on therapeutic modulation of gut microbiota using diet and/or physical activity as a means to enhance health and wellness. A collegiate runner and a category 2 road cyclist, Greg now competes as an elite-amateur triathlete for the Every Man Jack triathlon team. Particularly notable accomplishments in the multisport world include winning the Duathlon World Championship in 2010 and competing in the Ironman World Champion in Kona, Hawaii in 2018. He resides in beautiful but very hot this time of year Savannah, Georgia with his wife, Briana, and his one year old daughter, Grace.
