Dr. Ami was born and raised in Togo, a French speaking country in West Africa. She moved to the States as a high school student, and received her undergrad degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She later received her DDS degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She loves to serve and has been involved in doing missionary works since her childhood; having a heart for people is all she grew up to know. She has served as a board member and a co-founder for 2 different non-profit organizations: CleanH20forTogo, which builds wells and provides clean water in remote villages, and TogoMission, which focuses on orphan sponsorship and cares for orphans until they turn 18.
