But we also know how easy it is for the busyness and business of life to take over.  We might feel overwhelmed and discouraged as our connection with each other seems to fade.

For a long time, Mike and I thought we were prioritizing each other.  But all the stressful realities of blended family life quickly wedged their way between us.  As a result, we endured a painful season of feeling disconnected and alone.
