Dr. Holtzclaw is board certified by both the American Board of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and books. As a matter of fact, Dr. Holtzclaw recently authored the very first textbook ever published on pterygoid dental implants. Dr. Holtzclaw is a past recipient of the Excellence in Research Award from the International College of Dentists and is one of only 10 clinicians recognized by the American Academy of Periodontology as an "officially recommended speaker" for craniofacial reconstructive surgery.
