Phillip Zelmanow earned his dental degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, after earning his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany. He has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, specifically selecting courses focusing on full mouth rehabilitation. Recent training in restoration of complex implant cases allows him to give patients rock-solid replacements for missing teeth. He is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results with a high emphasis on comfort. He is honored to have been named a Connecticut Magazine® Top Dentist for the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016.

Dr. Atwood earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 2003. While there, he completed his U.S. board exams and earned awards for the student with the greatest potential in fixed prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) and orthodontics. Dr. Atwood got licensed for Texas and moved to Midland where he practiced from 2005 through 2011. In January 2012, Dr. Atwood purchased the practice of Dr. James Edmondson, who had been practicing in Odessa for well over 30 years. Dr. Atwood enjoys learning and regularly takes more than the required amount of continuing education, including several courses in orthodontics.
