179: Linden Hall sets 1500m NR | Surf Coast TC take Easter Marathon

Julian overcomes some niggles to take out second in the Easter Half Marathon in Hobart.

Box Hill Classic Linden Hall reclaims the 1500m national record and becomes the first Australian female to break 4 minutes in the 1500m, 3:59.67. Dave McNeill blazed the field for a 3000m PB of 7:46, while Leanne Pompeani won the women's race. Jye Edwards from Team Telford triumphed over Matt Ramsden in the Men's 1500m.

Izzi Batt-Doyle set a 3000m SA State Record in 8:51 at the 3000m State Championships & Adelaide Invitational

Easter Marathon in Hobart Marnie Ponton and Matt Gunther won the marathon, while Ellie Pashley and Nick Earl both took out the Half Marathon. Marnie & Ellie both set course records in their respective races.

British runner and triathlete Beth Potter massive new personal best at the Podium 5K, going 14:41

Great Britain selected their Olympic marathon team with Charlotte Purdue the notable omission from selection, who will be going on to appeal the decision.

A new World Record was set at the N Kolay İstanbul Half Marathon, with Ruth Chepngetich running 64:02. Kibiwott Kandie solidified his credentials in 59:35 over Geoffrey Kamworor.

Stawell Gift returned with Tom Thorpe taking out the Invitational 3200m running off 200m, in front of Jhye Hadfield and Stewy McSweyn off the back.
