We've all had those moments, whether at a corporate job or running your own businesses, where you're exhausted and feel like the money isn't worth it. It's so easy to lose sight of what matters to US.

I am on vacation with my son in Rhode Island for a soccer camp. We were getting some lunch the other day, and I asked to take a minute and listen to the other moms. We heard: Do you have enough food? Did you get enough water? What do you want for dinner? Does anyone want to do a boating trip?

They were planning for EVERYONE. This happens so easily. We are so incredible; we do so many things. We are capable. And what can come with that is a disappearance of us and why we're doing the things we're doing.

Picture this: It's Monday morning, and you're doing everything and looking at your bank statement. You may be looking at an email. Maybe someone says they're going to pass on your offer. There's always a trigger for us to feel like, "I don't even know why I'm doing this."

This is where we need someone by our side. We don't do well when we stay in our heads. We ruminate; we look for the negatives. We see all the wrong things.

I want to tell you right now that you don't need an intuitive business coach who will tell you everything happens for a reason. To feel. To manifest. You need somebody who uses their intuition to guide you and back up your next moves with data.

You're stuck. It doesn't feel very good. What do you want to do about it? This is where the "woo-woo, just feel good" starts to upset me. As a coach, I take my job to alter human behavior very seriously.

If you've worked with a coach, you're doing that because there's a behavior you have yet to overcome. Or there's something you're doing where you're sabotaging yourself that you're not yet able to overcome.

There is no three-step process to making your business blow up.

But there is a process of discovering why you're not doing what you know you must do. There's a process to working on your visibility. There's a process to working on your action plan when you don't feel like it. There's a process to expanding your mindset and your ability to handle more success. But it's not one-two-three MAGIC.

It takes practice. It takes measuring. It takes going back and forth and saying: okay, I did this thing. This is what worked. This is what didn't. Why? What happened here? That is the work of owning a business. It's hard, but it's doable.

If you feel like there is a new future for you, if you are not lit up by the life you are leading right now, it is time. It is time to get a coach who works with data. It is time to get a coach who fires you up. It is time to get a coach to work on your action plan. It is time to get a coach who will work on your mindset.

If you're ready, get an intuitive business coach, but get one who backs their work up with data and findings. There is more to life than grinding. There is more to life than staring at your screen, wondering what's wrong with you. There is another pathway through here.
