I can't believe this is the last in my type panel series — and that it took so long, given how many Generators there are on the planet! — but I’m here today with some of my favorite Generators to share their experiences.

We are back with one of my most favorite friends: Katya Stepanov, a creative doula, embodiment and somatics coach, 5/1 Mental Projector, and Leo sun / Taurus moon / Libra rising.

You may remember Katya from our G center and Projector episodes, but today she's sharing her experiences with an undefined sacral center and how they relate to / differ from mine with a defined sacral.

If you are a Generator or Mani Gen, you have a defined sacral with consistent energy coming from this motor center, but if you’re a Projector, Manifestor, or Reflector, your sacral is undefined (if you have any gates) or completely open.

We're talking about:

• how Katya feels “lit up” as an undefined sacral being and the effortlessness we both feel when we’re getting curious about things vs. exhaustion when something isn’t aligned
• navigating the rest / productivity cycle and becoming attuned to what we individually have the energy for — and as Katya says, also understanding that rest IS productive
• the importance of environment to undefined sacrals and why it feels good to change it up and take a break from certain places
• why we all should stop doing the things we don't have the energy for, regardless of our type or defined centers!. . . and what opens up when we stop forcing ourselves to do more out of obligation or to prove a point

Today I’m receiving a whole lot of wisdom through Ean Lindblom, a 1/3 Emotional Generator and Pisces sun / Aquarius moon / Sagittarius rising who’s trained in yoga and Human Design.

As you’ll hear, I think Ean’s take on Human Design and its relationship to the body is so freaking fascinating and in our conversation, we’re going deep into so many aspects of Human Design.

Just a few of the things we muse on in this episode are:

• how Ean works through (or actually something he consciously does NOT work through) his emotional authority on a day-to-day basis, and lets his emotions guide him to what he has clarity on and what he doesn't
• how those of us with undefined or open head and ajna centers can allow them to "do their job" and be of service without taking over and trying to be judgmental and certain about things that don't matter
• being envious of other Human Design configurations and why we both kind of wish we were Projectors — but how we can bridge each others' gaps and desires through our connections
• as a defined heart center, how Ean interprets money not as having value in itself, but as a method of transforming it into something you value more highly

And, maybe most importantly, why Ean believes that paying attention is the most beneficial thing anyone can do in this life!

Today I’m sharing a little bit of my Mani Gen frustration with the idea that you can have a quick fix to get to your next level without doing the spiritual work.

This comes from a lot of what I see in the Human Design community, but it’s really everywhere.

And spiritual bypassing is something I had to experience myself to realize it wasn’t the answer.

I personally used to not understand why I wasn't getting further faster.

It wasn’t until I could feel the grounded inner belief and acceptance in my body AND let go of my expectations on timing — something I talk about a lot here! — that things started to shift for me.

So when it comes to finding your true purpose, success, whatever you’re seeking:

You don't get to skip the lessons you're here to learn on this journey.

You can't intellectualize your way into magnetism / wealth / success.

Your transformation comes from the fully authentic and healed you.

Sure, information opens up your awareness to start moving in that direction, but there’s no one system or tool or technique that’s going to get you there.

I’ve got a deeply personal journey to share today. (Seriously, are you ready to listen to me cry?)

If you’ve been here a while, you know that things have been shifting since the beginning of the year. To be brutally honest, this has been the hardest and one of the most transformative years of my life.

And, not so coincidentally, this year has been in my nodal return. Don’t know what that is? Stick with me — I’ll explain in this episode.

In your Human Design chart, the North and South Nodes are the horseshoe-shaped glyphs in the side columns, and they have gates assigned to them like all the planets.

And a nodal return is when the nodes come back to the same point they were when you were born.

So today I’m talking about my North and South Nodes and the evolution I’ve seen in myself with the energy of my nodal gates — things like:

• the gate that's responsible for my massive emotional highs and lows this year
• how I’m moving away from codependence and forcing intimacy to feel self-worth
• my North Node’s theme of moving from emotional dependence to abundance, and how I can use it to stop judging my own feelings
• and basically my entire freaking JOURNEY to surrender and self-trust this year

FYI, I have the same gates — 59 for the South Node and 55 for the North Node — on both my design and personality side, so double the energy, lucky me!

You might want to grab your chart to follow along, especially if you have gates 55 or 59 anywhere in your bodygraph.

This time of year, we talk about the "thinning of the veil" a lot here in our spiritual communities. And yes, it means that this season often heightens our abilities to talk to spirits more than usual, but it means more than that.

It’s also a fantastic freaking time to go deeper into your body and your authority, and connect to them more strongly.

WHY? Because, if you’re here in the Northern Hemisphere like me, you’re picking up on what nature’s doing: shedding, letting go, preparing to rest. And so we’re called to slow down, tune in, look inward.

You might be feeling things a little more vividly right now or feeling pulled to rest more, step away from conditioned productivity. 

And that’s because the external world, as it enters the season of descent, can be giving you fewer distractions so you can hear your authority more loudly.

So in this episode, I’m going through each Human Design authority and how you can take advantage of this energetic moment to understand it better.
