I’m sure it’s happened to most, if not all, of us as we started living through Human Design — this feeling of disconnect and distrust is something I’ve personally worked on for years.

So today I’m going in-depth about one of the biggest foundations of my business: understanding what your authority feels like with a dysregulated or disassociated nervous system.

How do you trust your body when it doesn't feel safe to do so? It’s a big question, and I’m breaking it down:

• identifying the different trauma responses of the nervous system: fight, flight, freeze, and fawn
• how to begin processing feelings and following your authority when you have a hard time labeling emotions in your body
• the crucial question to ask yourself every time you feel that sacral yes, sense of excitement, or other positive body response
• how to decode and reconcile the mixed messages between your authority and your nervous system
• a simple (and not time-consuming!) daily habit you can start practicing to help teach yourself that it’s safe to feel how your body actually feels

Even if you don’t trust your body’s relationship to your authority right now, I hope that this episode gives you the push you need to start moving forward and eventually feel the true connection to your body.

Today I’m talking with Jess Marie, a vedic counselor specializing in codependency and a 1/3 Emotional Projector. Jess takes a holistic approach to mental health, and uses her knowledge of vedic methods (including breathwork, yogic postures, and ayurveda) to help heal others.

Jess has been researching codependency since she was 19, so it’s no wonder she has a lot to share here! We cover so much ground in this episode, including:

• why codependency isn’t limited to romantic relationships, and how it can affect so many aspects of our lives
• how anxiety, panic attacks, and other disregulations of the nervous system can relate to codependency
• the importance of self-accountability and how it differs from self-blame — and how this difference led Jess to a place of being to help so many other people
• recognizing some of the signposts of codependency, and the first steps to realization and healing by refocusing on yourself

Today I’m having an honest and illuminating conversation with Briana Villegas about her time in the Revive Your Sacral program.

Briana is a certified menstrual cycle coach and 2/4 Generator who uses her experience with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) to help others rewire their relationship with themselves and with their cycles.

She’s tiny but mighty, and it seems like we’re always feeling her influence — yes, it’s the Heart Center! 

Today we’ll be digging into the details of this magnetic source of willpower and material resources, and how its energy works in your body whether or not you have it defined or undefined in your chart.

I’ll be sharing my big “aha moment” about how I realized the connection between the Heart and the Sacral Centers was a major part in healing my my functional burnout, and how you can work through this to revive your sacral energy if you’re struggling with burnout too.

• why the word “ego” is not necessarily negative and how defined Heart people can lean on their consistent Heart energy without coming off as selfish

I’m so. freaking. excited. to talk to you about my favorite center within the bodygraph today … yes, it’s the Sacral Center!

No matter if you’re a Generator or Manifesting Generator with a defined Sacral or a Reflector, Projector, or Manifestor with an undefined Sacral, it’s vital for all of us to learn how to work best with this center’s energy.

This super powerful motor center is responsible for that “gut response” — the sacral YES or NO that offers guidance. But if we can’t connect and feel what our sacral is telling us, we can end up depleted. And sacral burnout is something so many of us are dealing with right now.

In this episode, I’ll be breaking down how every single one of us can connect with our sacral energy!

Defined Sacrals:

• how to listen to your gut response to respond to the stuff that lights you up
