186: Gateshead Diamond League

Brad cruises some intervals with Mulligans Flat TC and spends more time at its namesake.

Oliver Hoare claimed the scalp of Stewy McSweyn in the 1500m of the Gateshead Diamond League, finishing on the heels of winner Jakob Ingrebrigsten. Matt Ramsden and Ryan Gregson finished 5th and 9th respectively. James Nipperess took on the 3000m Steeplechase, with Nationals rival Ben Buckingham pacing the first 1000m.

Ostrava Golden Spike saw Joshua Cheptegei fall short in his 3000m world record attempt, coming in with a WL 7:33.24. Jacob Kiplimo 10,000m 26:33.93 7th fastest ever.

Reece Edwards 2:13: and third place S7 Marathon in Austria, backing up from Cheshire, Wales a month ago. Canadian Cam Levins won and qualified for the Olympics running 2:10:

NSW Novice XC Championship taken by Max Mahone & Annabel White. In the all-comers race, it was Kieran Tall & Belinda Martin each taking the win.

Lardner Park XC taken out by Andrew Buchanan over Cody Shanahan and Thomas Thorpe. Karinna Fyfe takes out her maiden win over Sarah Klein and Stella Radford.
