Talk about dream podcast guest! If you're anything like me, chances are you watched Looking for Alibrandi growing up. Pia won an AFI award for best lead actress for her role as Josephine Alibrandi. I had this movie on DVD and the soundtrack on CD too, so you can imagine how nervous I was going into this interview. More recently I've watched Pia on Wentworth and Mustangs FC. She's also done a bunch of theatre acting too. I love that Pia opened up about acting and her process, we talked about different acting techniques, i was like a kid in a candy shop. 

Of course I couldn't interview Pia Miranda without asking about Survivor; Pia won Survivor, that's 50 days in Fiji slogging it out, facing her fears to win the title. After the pod Pia asked if i wanted to smell her Survivor gear, i was like sure thing, spoiler alert it literally smells like jungle. Pia is open, kind and caring. I hope you love this interview as much as I do, it was an honour to sit down with the talented Pia Miranda.
