Come on an audio journey to an away day at Boundary Park with our brand new 1912 Exiles northern reporter; Ian Street!
Train, pint, away end, pie, glancing header, 0-1 win and off home, the way football should be.
Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a pre-COVID world as you take in the sounds of the amber away end.
As always, drop us a line via Twitter or Facebook with any feedback. And please do leave us a few five-star reviews to give us a warm glow in our amber hearts.
The cast of 1912 Exiles are still on a bit of a holiday so here's a short preview for the upcoming season opener against Oldham.
Joined by our podcasting compatriots from the opposition; Boundary Park Alert System, we take in their perspective on their end of things for the season and predictions for the game. Something about a leaking bath with the taps open?
We'll be back to do an in-depth season preview as soon as the grass has fully grown on Rodney Parade!

We've taken a longer break than usual between episodes, to give us time to draw breath after last season's rollercoaster and to give the club time to make forays into the summer transfer market - and now we're back with a bang to go through all the close season news.
Ed is joined by stalwarts Rhys and Jamie, as well as with debutants Chris Kirwan (of South Wales Argus fame) and Caitlin Bennett (of #HerGameToo fame). We analyse the incomings and outgoings and what they mean for our expectations of next season's County team, we discuss the arrival of a new Sporting Director, and we get over-excited about the prospect of away games to Harrogate, Sutton and Carlisle - there's a sentence we wouldn't have written pre-COVID.
We'll be back in about three weeks' time soon with a preview of our opening fixtures and will attempt to make some predictions for 2021/22. In the meantime, do drop us a line via Twitter or Facebook with any feedback. And please do leave us a a five-star review on your pod-catcher of choice.

Got to be honest, we didn't really want to make this episode. Ed and Rhys pick the bones out of our playoff defeat to Morecambe, discuss the penalty that never should have been and evaluate the experience of watching big-game football in a pandemic. We also consider Mike Flynn's post-match comments expressing frustration at the club, and do a quick-fire roll-call of who we think will stay and go from the current squad over the summer..
We'll be back soon with a fuller (and more upbeat) post-season review episode. In the meantime, do drop us a line via Twitter or Facebook with any feedback. And please do leave us a a five-star review on your pod-catcher of choice.

We couldn't not do a Wembley special episode, could we?!?
Ed is joined by Martyn and Jack to reflect on a rollercoaster pair playoff semi-final legs against Forest Green and to look ahead to our final on Bank Holiday Monday against Morecambe. Martyn gives us some tactical analysis of our opponents, Jack seeks to start a bromance with Kevin Ellison, and Ed waxes lyrical about how spoilt County fans are with five Wembley appearances in a decade.
We want YOU to contribute to our next episode by dropping us a voice note on Monday from Wembley (or wherever you're tuning in for the game). You can visit our Speakpipe page and contribute your thoughts - whether it's from Wembley Way on your walk to the stadium, or as the teams come onto the pitch, or as Tom King strokes home the winner... Hopefully our next episode will be an aural collage of people's moments from the day.
In the meantime, enjoy the pod as part of your build-up to the big game. As always, drop us a line via Twitter or Facebook with any feedback. And please do leave us a few five-star reviews to give us a warm glow in our amber hearts.
