Today’s episode is the final one in the four-part series of the Four Shields of Difficult Conversations. So far, I have talked about blaming, crying and deflection. Today I’ll be talking about the final shield - victimhood.

When challenges occur in life, it’s easy to let our emotions get the best of us and assume that the world is out to get us. It’s okay to have a pity party now and then. However, if it gets out of hand, it’s easy to start floundering in victimhood.
