Then, Bryan is joined by Rep. Ro Khanna of California, who this week introduced a bill in the House of Representatives to add an additional “(X), Unspecified” sex marker category for U.S. passports. They discuss how the bill impacts nonbinary and gender nonconforming Americans and their ability to travel. Khanna, who also co-chair’s Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign, shares why he believes a Sanders nomination will help, not hurt, Democrats’ chances in November.
