In this week’s episode, Tatum talks about the dangers of performance keeping us from obedience, and how to stay away from our fleshly performative nature.

9:09: There’s a difference between performance and obedience.

26:01: One of the ways we can easily slip into performance is by not practicing stillness.

29:38: In order to obey, we have to hear.

30:08: Another thing that gets us into performance is stopping what we did before the prayer was answered.

32:38: Another thing that gets us into performance is  allowing the praises of people to get into our heads and our hearts.

39:00: Another thing that gets us into performance is feeling spiritually inadequate towards what God is calling us to do.

41:36: Getting outside of the will of God comes from one compromise at a time.

41:59: Another thing that gets us into performance is being intimidated by those you admire either in faith or in business.

46:56: Another thing that gets us into performance is being a hearer of the Word not not a doer of the Word.
