Dr. Laurel Fick, an Internist in residency program leadership, became disenchanted with training new physicians to work in our broken healthcare system.  She missed one on one time with patients and wanted to model a novel, sustainable patient care.  "It feels so good to actually be working to fix the system with my practice and opportunities to share my experience with others instead of just being stuck inside of it."  She now runs her own micro practice dedicated to the care of complex Internal Medicine patients.
