Serena Holmes owned an event management company, and tried to sell it just before the pandemic. As we all know, event companies took a beating during the pandemic. She had already begun investing in real estate and this crystallized her real estate investing journey and entry into private lending, and she built a strong network to do this. She now hosts a podcast, is moving into the multifamily space, and has multiple backup plans for cash flow to secure her future. Serena and I chat about mindset, her book The Accidental Entrepreneur, giving back to your community and fans, and building a strong network. Time is our most precious resource, and Serenas has built a business that allows her much more freedom than a 9-5, or her crazy hours were with her event company.
