Brad changes plans in response to his body and runs a solid workout in the Launceston Half Marathon.
There were fast times at the Launceston Running Festival, with Brett Robinson taking the win in the half marathon in 1:01:56 despite some less than ideal weather conditions at the start, ahead of Liam Adams and Joel Tobin-White. Sinead Diver won the half marathon in 1:11:14, clear of Abigail Nordberg and Vanessa Wilson

Ed Trippas set a qualifier and new personal best of 8:20.29 in the Men’s Steeplechase at the NCAA Track & Field Finals in Oregon.
Portland Track Festival featured Amy Cashin taking out the Women’s 3000m Steeplechase in 9:27.91, while Pat Tiernan also took out a win in the Men’s 5000m in 13:19.14. Charlie Hunter of Union Athletic Club ran 1:45.58 in the 800m.
Joseph Deng returns to form starting with a 3rd place at the 800m in 1:46.77 at Trond Mohn Games, Norway then posts his 4th fastest time ever with a 1:44.69 at the Meeting National de l’Est Lyonnais in France, while teammate Peter Bol posts a huge 7 second PB of 3:35.89 to win the 1500m.
This week’s listener question also doubles as this week’s edition of Training Talk presented by Lululemon, this time discussing which surfaces are ideal for training, in particular for road marathons.
As Gold Coast Marathon looms near, Moose goes Loose on would-be chasers of Strava kudos wanting to flaunt their form.
