Running seems so simple, just lace them up and head out the door. But then we start looking around and seeing what other runners are doing. We see the workout someone put onto social media or Strava. We hear about the PB of someone who has been running for less time than we have. We learn about the need for strength and mobility. Suddenly, we are pretty sure that we need to add more and more to our training plan to actually reach our potential. Eventually, we are doing so much that we do not enjoy any of it. Here is a reminder that you are doing enough. More than that, you are enough.
