Initially it was self-published online for free following an Instagram challenge and hashtag under the same name, and was downloaded by close to ninety thousand people around the world in the space of six months. It is now a New York Times Bestselling book. Layla's work has been brought into homes, educational institutions and workplaces around the world that are seeking to create personal and collective change.
It is worth mentioning this conversation was recorded on 4th May, before the news of George Floyd. The advertising revenue for this week's episode will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Fund.
