In 2014, I cycled the entire Pacific Coast from Canada to Mexico. Sort of. Because of the difficulty getting through a section in southern California, I always had a teeny tiny section unbicycled... a missing link, if you will. In 2022, it's time to bike that missing link. Part 1 chronicles my flight to San Diego and the first day of riding to Carlsbad.
