Brian struggles with a chemical order but is convinced he let Adam go at the right time, as he has Ed. Ed reminds Brian he’s only there to work the land. But when Ed quickly solves a problem, he’s thrown when Brian insists he needs Ed next Thursday to meet an engineer – Ed’ll have to miss the Borchester Show. Ed also agrees to shift manure to Broad Acre, despite his concerns it’s right by Spiritual Home. With her sessions disrupted by the smell, Kate confronts Ed and has it out with Brian, sensing a vendetta and telling Brian she supports Adam keeping Xander away from him. Brian’s stung.
Keira’s early for her first day of work experience at Rewilding, relieved to not be at Amside. Working on woodpiles with Kirsty, Keira opens up and admits she’s not looking forward to George and Amber’s baby arriving, as she thinks George will be useless. Kirsty encourages Keira to step up - not as a baby carer, but in holding George to account.
Despite not wanting to talk about babies, Keira enjoys the cute footage of the beavers. She opens up about running away last Christmas, and George always being the centre of attention. Keira has started to talk to her parents about it now, and Kirsty says to keep going. And if Keira ever needs space, there’s some here for her.
