We all go through periods of upheaval in our lives at some point, often individually or on a smaller community level.
Right now, many of us are feeling the immensity of upheaval on a collective level.
Even if you're feeling some ground, there's a real uncertainty about what happens next.
When we're faced with this combination of both acute and chronic stress, it can take a toll on many systems of the body - including our hormones.
So, what can we do? What strategies are available that are simple and effective - both in the moment of acute stress and long term over the course of time to enhance stress resilience?
There are countless ways to caretake our nervous systems.
In today's episode, I share about three categories - breathwork, food choices and herbs - to support the tending of your nerves.
And well, I offer a fourth bonus category at the end, too.
The truth is that a multi-layered approach is going to be far more effective at cultivating resilience and more ease. But it doesn't have to be hard.
These practices are all accessible, and you can choose what you feel most drawn to. Start there. Let it be easy.
