We start with the "false equivocation," where people try to make two things that aren't equal seem the same to prove their point. I give an example from my own experience in professional sports and explain how this fallacy can distract from the real issue.

I also talk about the "appeal to emotion," where someone tries to make you feel guilty or emotional to avoid having a logical discussion. It’s often used to manipulate your response, and it’s something you need to watch out for.
