Chris Silver represented Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games mixed relay. His promising pro triathlon career took a detour when he contracted Covid in March 2020. Since then, he’s been one of the many untold stories of long covid - repeating cycles of fatigue, recovery, restarts to training and relapses. Ultimately though, Chris’ story is one of gratitude, hope, helping others recover, and as he puts it - ‘Go slow to recover fast.’
