This episode was a confronting one to record because we share everything, from the experience of being awake for the egg collection to the anxious 5 day wait to see if we got any embryos and if we did, how many embryos we got. It was a mental and physical rollercoaster with many highs and lows. I have so much respect for any human who’s going through or gone through this. Before doing even just this one round of IVF I thought I was brave but this was a whole new level. So I hope you find this honest, no fluff encounter of sharing one round of IVF helpful. Our goal is to help people feel less alone and afraid of what can feel like a daunting and lonely experience.
