Tom Ziegler graduated Dental School from the Ohio State University (DDS, cum laude) and then spent 3 years in the US Army as a dentist in Germany before returning to the Ohio State University for an MS in orthodontics. He then practiced for 30 years in Cincinnati, spending time as an Associate, a Partner and a sole owner. In 1994 he graduated from Salmon P. Chase, School of Law at Northern Kentucky University (JD) and founded Ziegler Practice Transitions, Ltd., an orthodontic practice transitions consulting firm that appraises orthodontic practices and negotiates and drafts the legal documents required for brining in an Associate, Partner or selling 100%. Tom has lectured to orthodontic residents around the country for 20 years, first through 3M Unitek's Bottom Line University Program and more recently through his own Webinar Series. Likewise, Tom has been the key speaker at the AAO Annual Session Practice Transition Program several times over the years and Ziegler Practice Transitions now sponsors that Program annually.
