Although fitness is about pushups, protein and pumps, we need to think bigger than that. We need to be a leader that people will follow.

That's where your ability to influence and persuade come in. The leaders who made the most impact in the world had strong communication skills, they had vision and they explained "the big why" behind everything.

Your leadership shows up in many ways.

- The way you remind the team of your mission.

- The energy and enthusiasm you bring everyday.

- The simplicity of how you teach complex topics.

- The vulnerability and relatability you bring to the discussion.

People would rather follow a leader who's always REAL than a leader who's always RIGHT.

If you come off as "Mr/Mrs. Perfect" with your training, nutrition and recovery than you are pushing away your clients. It's not relatable. They want to know what you struggle with and if you have the same insecurities as them.
