Last week I turned the big 5-0! And you know what? It didn’t bother me near as much as I thought it would. 

In fact...I feel pretty dang good. I love the knowledge I have now and I like being able to say I’m an expert in a field that I love. This past week has given me the opportunity to reflect on life, take inventory of where I’ve been and what I’ve done and I want to use this opportunity to share 50 tips I’ve learned as a special education teacher that you can use to apply to your own life and your own career.

But I want you to know... I’m not just pulling these out of thin air. I truly believe in every single one of these and they come from years of experience, trial and error, observations of others, mistakes I’ve made, successes I’ve had and tears I’ve cried. And I stand behind each one and I practice what I preach.
