Know Yourself
Taking Small steps towards your goals feels good and can snowball into big results!
Staying positive and celebrating little wins makes you inclined to keep going.
Lead with the positive. This will literally change your thought process, the way your brain operates, and you'll feel supported instead of discouraged. Your body will feel safe instead of threatened.
We want our body to be supported. The more things that you add in that support your wellbeing, the more you start to weed out some of your less desirable habits without even realizing it. So always lead with adding in.
You need to know yourself.
If there's one goal I have for you all, for your health this year, it's to get to know your own body. And also changing your mindset from the idea that you need to change your body or your lifestyle, to learning to support your body and your lifestyle. -Gina Roof
Gina recommends starting with the things that you know help you to feel better and keep you healthy and thriving such as: sleep, getting enough nutrients, movement and walking, getting enough sunshine, hydration, working on your stress.
