This podcast was inspired by Edith Eger work. If you haven't read her books - The Choice and The Gift, we highly recommend them. 

One of our first fears is of abandonment. We learn from an early age to get the 3 As - Attention, Affection and Approval from others. We figure out what to do, or whom to become in order to get our needs met. Edith discusses that the problem isn't about doing these things in the first place but that we KEEP doing them because we think we must in order to be loved. 

It is dangerous to put our whole life into someone else's  hands. We must become the source of our own 3As.
